今年的布克奖揭晓：Anne Enright’s “The Gathering”

出乎大多媒体的预料，今年度英国布克奖（Man Booker Prize）颁给了爱尔兰女作家Anne Enright的家族小说 The Gathering。45岁的Anne Enright，原是一位电视制作人，The Gathering是她的第四部作品，故事讲述女主人公Veronica从弟弟自杀的事件里，追溯家族三代不堪、灰暗的历史。
