歧视人的胶带纸
January 15, 2008 on 1:38 pm | In 蛰居琐话 | 4 Comments上午去邮局给国内一朋友寄包裹，问清最便宜的航空First-Class Mail International寄送时间大约7-12天，心中正喜，柜台的阿姨看着我怀里敞开大口的纸箱，笑眯眯的问道，“你带封箱的胶带了吗？”我一脸茫然的摇头，被告知得提前自个把箱子封好了才给寄。
“咦”，被浇了一头冷水的我，急中生智找到一个反驳理由，“你们不需要检查一下箱子里的东西吗？”
阿姨继续笑眯眯的说，“咱不检查。”接着给我两个选择，一，如果寄19块钱的Firs-Class Mail，就再花4块钱买一卷邮局卖的胶带纸，二，如果寄29块钱的Priority Mail，则不用操心，他们提供免费的胶带纸。当然还有三，回家封好了再跑一趟邮局。
忿忿之余，又觉滑稽的纳闷，莫非美国邮局不景气如此、要干起强卖的勾当，还是只此Stanford一家的特例？
最后解决方案四：A同学从实验室赶来救急，拿了一卷胶带纸。
