Don Delillo是美国当代文坛一位非常重要的作家。最近买了台湾翻译的他的《白噪音》，待读。

囫囵吞枣般读了Delillo 的新作 Point Omega，一本非常抽象的现代小说，没有完全读懂，故事中加州沙漠给人的那种广袤、荒芜、茫然的无力感，让人很亲切，想起自己去死谷、Mojave的游览经历。有关书名，Point Omega是一个法国耶稣会教士提出的某种极限点的概念，wiki上的解释是：describe a maximum level of complexity and consciousness towards which the universe appears to be evolving。对故事开头和结尾的那个现代影像艺术作品 24 Hour Psycho 非常感兴趣。
