这么多报道里,《卫报》一文的标题最说出我的感受,“Philip Roth more than deserves his Booker”。

罗斯接受曼布克国际奖的致辞:“One of the particular pleasures I’ve had as a writer is to have my work read internationally despite all the heartaches of translation that that entails. I hope the prize will bring me to the attention of readers around the world who are not familiar with my work. ”

The Programme Era: Postwar Fiction and the Rise of Creative Writing一书,《伦敦书评》上 Elif Batuman的一篇严厉批评写作班的书评,引起很多讨论,最近,作者Mark McGurl在《洛杉矶书评》上撰文反击,探讨人们为何讨厌创意写作班,Salon的知名书评人Laura Miller也写了文章,提出,写作班真得会毁了我们的文学创作吗?
